How to get started?

Using the AutoBrief platform is simple. For an easy start, we recommend following the steps below.

1 - Set up your profile settings

Start by completing your profile settings to avoid missing data and duplicate work later.

1. In the top-right corner, click your name and select Settings.
2. Fill in the information in the following sections:
3. • Company profile
   • Personal profile
   • User accounts – invite colleagues to your team
   • Business units

👉 In Business units, we recommend adding all branches/locations from the beginning (if you operate in more than one place). That way, vehicles and data will be correctly assigned to the right unit from day one.

2 - Activate access to vehicle auctions

Once your basic information is set up, we recommend activating the Vehicle Auctions module. Activation takes a few days because company approval is required. After approval, you’ll get daily access to thousands of auction vehicles across Europe.

Why buy vehicles via AutoBrief auctions?

✅ Color-coded market price indicator – a green/red indicator next to the current auction price shows whether the purchase is financially worthwhile compared to the market.
✅ Cost breakdown before bidding – mediation, transport, tax fees and other costs are shown before you place an offer, so you know the full cost in advance.
✅ Pay only upon delivery – you settle the vehicle purchase cost once the vehicle is delivered to your dealership.

3 - Add your first vehicle

Click Vehicles in the menu and open your stock overview - this will be your main workspace.

Each vehicle comes with its own card containing all key information: photos, procurement data, sales documents, listing details and more. To make the most of AutoBrief, we recommend entering as much data as possible from your first vehicle onward.

4 - Import your vehicle stock

Whenever you get a new vehicle, add it to the system immediately. We recommend entering vehicles gradually—one by one with each new arrival—so onboarding stays easy.

If you already have your stock in Excel or another system, you can import everything at once. Go to the DOWNLOADED FROM tab and click Import the list of vehicles.
