Data protection and information confidentiality are key priorities at AutoBrief. We understand that you enter sensitive business data into the system (data on vehicles, customers, invoices, financing and internal costs) which is why their protection is the foundation of our operations.
Data Ownership and Access
All data you enter into AutoBrief is exclusively yours.
- The data is intended for use within your company and for your accounting and business needs.
- We do not have access to the data without explicit permission.
- Access to data is granted only to users to whom you assign permissions user accounts and roles.
This is also clearly defined in our General Terms and Conditions.
AutoBrief Team Support and Access
The AutoBrief team does not automatically access your data.
In case of technical support or error resolution, access is possible exclusively:
- at your request or
- with your explicit consent.
Each such access is intended exclusively for solving a specific problem.
Access control
As an account administrator you can:
- Add or remove users
- Define their rights and access to individual modules
- Restrict access to sensitive data (e.g., finance, margins, invoices)
This means you have complete control over who sees what information within your company.
Additional protection
For additional security, we recommend:
- Using strong passwords
- Activating two-factor authentication (2FA) where available
- Regularly reviewing user accounts and permissions
GDPR and legal basis for data processing
AutoBrief operates in accordance with the GDPR Regulation and applicable Slovenian legislation in the field of personal data protection. As a data controller, you are responsible for the lawful processing of personal data of your customers and employees that you enter into the system – AutoBrief acts as a data processor on your behalf. Our obligations and your rights are precisely defined in the data processing agreement, which is an integral part of our general terms and conditions.
All relevant legal documents – General Terms of Use, Business Data Protection Policy and Privacy Policy – can be found on our website or within the platform if you click on Settings and then see under the menu General Legal Information.
We recommend that you review and familiarize yourself with them, as they define the rights and obligations of both parties in handling personal and business data.
